Rock Family Support

Promoting the wellbeing of the child & family.

Rock Family Support is a service that works with children, young people and families who are at risk within their home or community.

We provide:

  • One-to-one support to young people,

  • Facilitate supervised access in a supportive, safe environment,

  • Provide a home support service

  • Facilitate a Teen Parenting Programme

  • Facilitate Transport

  • Wraparound Service

Children, young people, or parents may require transport for various reason; to visit their families, attend meetings or perhaps to attend school. At Rock, we can provide professional supervised transport when required.

With Supervised Access; this support is in place for children and young people to ensure their safety while they visit non-custodial parents. At times, there may be risk factors involved in children visiting their family. At Rock, we will supervise the access visit and in doing so, we will ensure the physical and emotional safety of the child is maintained while promoting the family bond.

We also provide a Home Support Service, which focuses on the needs within the family. We believe in early intervention and aim to promote and protect the health, well-being and rights of all children, young people and their families by focusing and addressing their needs. Our wraparound Service provides a family strength-based approach which responds to children and young people who experience challenges.

Our one-to-one support service has three programmes developed that will help young people to focus on their needs which in turn they will develop new skills, improve their behaviour and promote a positive outcome.

Our emergency care facility provides respite for adolescents who are out of home and need a place to stay. We provide a non-judgemental attitude and believe that each young person is just someone in need of our help and support. Rock Family Support Service provides a therapeutic approach with an aim to build a professional relationship with a young person and help them to overcome any barriers.
